Trautmann lacht! NEW PROGRAM

With the exceptionally life like portrayal of Detective Inspector Trautmann, chamber actor Wolfgang Böck has made a piece of domestic TV history. A film character that has not lost any of its incredible popularity even after numerous reruns. The Vienna police even respectfully appointed the audience favorite as an ‘honorary commission member’.

However, the new stage program ‘Trautmann lacht’ is meant to prove that daily police work is not only about murder, robbery, and other heinous crimes. In fact, funny anecdotes, some written by great humorists, demonstrate on the one hand the occasionally warm-hearted way the officers handle curious incidents, and on the other hand that law enforcement officers do not forbid themselves from laughing on duty and can sometimes even laugh heartily at themselves with a wink of the eye.

Wolfgang Böck has compiled stories and anecdotes over months of meticulous ‘criminalistic’ work, which not only guarantee 90 minutes of hearty laughter but also provide a brief yet extremely interesting insight into the history of law enforcement.
