The rack railroad up the Schneeberg is also a unique experience. Entry is at the train station in Puchberg am Schneeberg – 37 km, about 45 minutes from the hotel.

The Hohe Wand Nature Park offers you a variety of recreational and hiking opportunities: the Skywalk viewing terrace, an observation tower, the rock path, hiking trails, an animal enclosure and a petting zoo – only 40 km away.

Schwarzau im Gebirge Nature Park

The Schwarzau im Gebirge Nature Park is an experience for young and old. In a 14 ha park there are animal enclosures, a petting zoo, a playground and pleasant hiking trails – only 20 km from the hotel.

Wasserleitungs-Weg

The Wasserleitungsweg offers a charming and impressive alpine valley hike on a well-built and in places secured trail through the romantic gorge stretch between Schneeberg and Rax – 2 km away.

Myra Falls

Myra Falls – a hiking and water world: embark on a wonderful journey and experience the power of the waterfalls up close – 43 km and thus about 45 minutes away.

Grillenberg show mine

Grillenberg show mine in Payerbach – immerse yourself in an ancient world. Already around 1000 BC, copper was mined in Grillenberg. Guided tours are available by appointment from May to October – 5 km away.
