Herbert Steinböck feat. „Die 3 BariTöne“
A cabaret revue

Once upon a time, there was an opera singer. He had two students, one of them a pop entertainer, the other a cabaret artist. And because they simply loved to sing, and because they loved the Christmas season so much, because all three of them were fathers and because they were such childish dogs, they made a decision: Let’s have a music evening together!
“Great, and what are we singing there, teacher?” “Anything, anything that makes us and the audience have fun!”
3 – in harmony, 2 – in harmony, solo, quodlibet, canons… or is it called ‘cannons?’
“The plural of canon is canon?”
“Very imaginative, teacher, and what is a quodlibet?”
“Doesn’t matter, let’s just hum, flutter, trill, whistle, roar, and”

whisper!”
“And we want to lead the Schmäh!”
“3-part Schmäh… Mr. Teacher, we can manage that!”
They can expect a medley of the most colorful melodies, quotes from musicals to film music, from chorales to Schubert songs, from Viennese songs to peasant dances, from pop hits to arias!
“And also a few numbers of our own composition!”
“Everything that can be sung in three-part harmony.”
“And whoever knows it, sings along!”
“And of course, the gentleman cabaret artist will have his say!”
Absolutely! The fun should not be left out!
And the three gentlemen are accompanied on the piano.
“What kind of piano? Is it one of those canned ones?”
“Nonsense!”
Have fun with Herbert Steinböck feat. Die 3 BariTöne!
