Herbert Steinböck feat.
“The 3 BariTöne”
A cabaret revue
Once upon a time there was an opera singer! Philipp Schausberger had two pupils, one of them the cabaret artist Herbert Steinböck, the other the pop entertainer Roman Schwendt. And because they loved singing so much, and because they were such childish dogs, they made a decision!
Let’s do a cabaret song recital together! Quasi cabaret meets song recital!
“Great, and what are we singing, teacher?”
“Everything, everything we enjoy!
3 – voices, 2 – voices, solo, quodlibet, canons… or is that canons?”
“The plural of canon is canon?”
“Very imaginative, teacher, and what is a quodlibet?”
“It doesn’t matter, let’s just warble, shimmer, tirillate, flute, blare and whisper!”
“3 – voices blare… Teacher, we can do that!”
You can look forward to a round of colorful melodies, from musicals to film music, from chorales to Schubert songs, from Viennese songs to Bauerngstanzl, from hits to arias!
“And a few numbers from our own pen!”
“Everything that can be sung in 3 voices.
And the fourth in the group is the outstanding concert pianist Christina Zauner on the grand piano
“What kind of grand piano? Is that the one in the cans?”
