Matinee with August Schmölzer – Reading “HEIMAT”
AUGUST SCHMÖLZER reads from his new novel “HEIMAT”
Criticism of the homeland from someone who loves it: tradition and the fear of God versus tourism and modernity.
- Love, hate and passion, paired with church, politics and murder
- An atypical Heimatroman – equally critical and affectionate
- A tribute to Western Styria with its culinary delights and the famous Schilcher.
