Arrival by car
Vienna: Take highway S6 to exit Gloggnitz, direction Schottwien via Adlitzgraben to Breitenstein am Semmering. Follow the signs.
Graz: Take the S6 to the Gloggnitz exit in the direction of Schottwien via Adlitzgraben to Breitenstein am Semmering. Follow the signs.
St. Pölten: A1 (Westautobahn) direction Vienna, change to the A21 (Außenringautobahn), onto the A2 (Südautobahn), exit Seebenstein / S6 (Semmering Schnellstraße), exit Gloggnitz, via Payerbach to Breitenstein
St. Pölten via Hölltental: Head south, preferably via the B20 or corresponding country roads in the direction of Gutenstein / St. Corona am Wechsel or in the direction of Wiener Neustadt / Semmering, depending on the starting point in St. Pölten. Enter the Höllental (B27) at the junction near Rohr im Gebirge / Kalte Kuchl. The Höllental road (B27) leads through Schwarzau im Gebirge, Kaiserbrunn, Hirschwang an der Rax, Reichenau an der Rax and Payerbach to Gloggnitz. After Gloggnitz, follow the B27 or a connecting route that takes you to the B17. Gloggnitz in the direction of Schottwien via Adlitzgraben to Breitenstein am Semmering. Follow the signs.
By train: Vienna Central Station or Vienna Meidling, trains on the Südbahn run in the direction of Graz / Bruck an der Mur, direct connections stop directly in Breitenstein am Semmering. Otherwise you can get off at Payerbach-Reichenau station or at Semmering.
